• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

But what you can’t smell is the number of drivers going past that have had a few sherbets. Hopefully they will bring in the new zero limit for drink driving.
From what I have read about this, it won’t be a zero limit, it will match what the drink driving thresholds are in Scotland.

Though from this article, where this chap uses a breathalyser, and experiments over a few days with England and Wales current breath test limit, and the proposed limit.

Looking at the article, it may as well be zero, because one pint, and you will be over the limit.

I think it was a four hour collection time for me, and they were very clear with the instruction to not come back early. Killing four hours in Newport is easier said than done.
At least this explains why whenever I'm in Newport I see hundreds of oiks lingering in the city centre.

They're waiting for their passports.

Yes it’ll be similar levels as of the drug driving levels, miniscule. Fingers crossed it happens for the benefit of all of us and our loved ones.

A bit rude calling Coops an oik.

Whenever I’m in Newport I’m running. Public service broadcasting, right there.

Yes, very rude.

From memory I perused the wine aisle in Tesco and Morrisons, went to McDonald’s twice, visited a car dealership and still had an hour to wait in the car. I wasn’t hanging around Newport town centre dressed like Goldie Looking Chain.

You must have stood out like a sore thumb.

Worked in Newport for over 14 years, employed quite a few locals and whilst they were mostly okay, they are different to us down here.

(I’m being polite about them being okay)
