• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Given fine for not wearing seat belt.

What an absolute shower of shite this mob are

Good enough for the snivelling little bastard. Can't stand him.

Did he think nobody would notice?
Did he think 'I'm PM' I don't need to obey it?
Is he just downright dozy?

Where was his advisors?

It’s probably a habit. Nobody will have told him to take it off for the sake of his video.

Mr Sunak said he was 'happy to pay the £100 fine'. Ssspiffing, well done, how very jolly decent of you.

Boris the Eton mess followed by Truss the incompetent. Thought it couldn’t get any better but Nerdy Rishi’s doing his best to trump them.

I don't like Sunak or his government and I'm counting down the days till they're kicked out.

However, I would rather we saved our public criticism of him for more important things than not wearing his seatbelt. It's just a distraction.

After all I'll break the law today and so will most of you by driving faster than 30mph in a built up area

We can, and do, do both.

He’s the PM, supposedly anyway. He’s meant to lead by example not pick up two fines from the old bill in the space of a year.

And speeding kills, you should pack that in.

Lol, but do you think it coincidental that "seatbeltgate" arose at exactly the same time that questions are being asked about Zahawi's tax affairs?

Also, it's interesting to note that as a caller to LBC pointed out earlier, in most modern cars, if you are sitting in the back and don't plug your seatbelt in, there are audible warnings. So either Sunak's car didn't have the warning system or he plugged the belt in behind him to fool the system or he waited till the alarm got fed up before starting his video. These people are so Machiavellian that they are capable of any distraction you can imagine. "The Thick of It" was spot on imo

I don't think that he didn't wear a seat belt to divert attention away from Zahawi, no.

He'll have even bigger fish than Zahawi to fry shortly, when the Russian report is released.

I agree, but it's better for the Tories if the seatbelt story is on the front page rather than Zahawi.

Two questions:

Is it now fair to refer to ‘Ickle Rishi as ‘the Serial Offender Prime Minister’?

and,

Why is it that he isn’t being investigated (in the same way that Bojo the Clown is) for lying to Parliament? On the 7th of December 2021 he stated at the dispatch box “I have not attended any parties!” just prior to being fined by the Met (who are always beyond reproach 😬).
