Great idea, that work well with the MPPU, could slip that in beautifully after talking about Carling Prem. 🤣
Get it done, you know it makes sense and don't forget to post your conclusions up on here :D

The price of food and drink down that arena is meant to be extortionate apparently.
I was there to see Ben Howard last year, waited in a queue for an hour to get a drink and when I got to the front they'd run out of all cask beers. No excuse imo

Love the manics seen them several times but for me they need to retire or do some more solo projects.

It’s young angry music. For me it doesn’t work anymore.

No probs, I was browsing the Arena website a few weeks back, and knew I’d seen it.

I must say they have lots going on there this year, The Darkness, Ocean Colour Scene, Alison Moyet, Mike and the Mechanics, Level 42, Wet Wet Wet, Fast show on tour, loads of rock stuff, such as this

https://www.swansea-arena.co.uk/shows/the-ultimate-classic-rock-show. Certainly plenty going on down there.
Saw Level 42 at Rochester Castle a few years back. Truly excellent and well worth getting a ticket

Absolutely, the queueing up for an hour is appalling enough, but to run out of stock is amateurish and embarrassing for whoever runs the catering.

Thanks, I’m glad you said that, just looked on the website and there are not a great deal of seats left, which I must admit, has taken me slightly by surprise, considering they are appearing end of September.

The last 3 songs they have released have been very good. Nicky Wire sings one of them. I think it’s called Hiding in Plain Sight. Hes not a brilliant singer but it’s a good song nonetheless.
I’ve heard that Nicky Wire one and a few others on 6 music, decent.

Not my cup of tea these days. Twenty years ago would have been a different story, but times and tastes change.
