• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

There has been 14 straight white male leads, 1 straight white female lead and now a gay black lead.
Now the gammons are shrieking that they feel "under represented'.

You could not make it up!

Who’s shrieking? What has the sexual orientation of the actors who played Dr Who got to do with anything? It’s a fictional TV programme - not an Open University gender issues module.

Well the usual suspects on social media are crying over it. Darren Grimes for one. The sub species who claim whites are a minority on TV, They are now cancelling it. The irony is staggering.

It's upset the witchfinder general over at the other place, so all is good with the world.

It's always amusing how many people feel the need to comment negatively about subjects they subsequently claim not to care about.

If it returns to the Tennant, Matt Smith type stories, couldn’t care less who plays the Dr. Never seen anything this lad is in, but he seems pretty popular. Looking forward to it

Surely most of them have had a comedy /slapstick feel going right back to the early days of Troughton & Pertwee?
Agree , but he took the role in a new direction , the last series was I thought at times , unwatchable .

Jodie Whitticker kept acting at 100 mph , and some of the plots lost me .

Absolutely agree about how unwatchable the last series and one off specials have been. I did not have a clue what was going on most of the time. Glad Russell is back at the helm, but I hope he still gets the time to write some more brilliant stuff like It's a Sin.....how Bafta ignored that awesome series on Sunday is a crime..

David Tennant and Billie Piper , plus Matt Smith and Karen Gillian playing lead roles as companions looked like clever casting .
Maybe they will bring back John Simm as the Master , he was good too .
