I'll disagree with you on that.
Some very intelligent observational comedy-the socially ambitious couple who refers to himself as StJohn rather than Sanjay is extremely clever at looking at both Indian and British prejudice and reflected in current society and politicians.

The silly- Smeeta Smitten and 'a small aubergine auntie' both done to perfection by Meera Syall.

And not forgetting everyone gets tanked up on lassis on a Friday night and goes for an English. "Give me something really bland".

It went over the heads of so many. I'm thick as pig s^^t/Jack1^^ and i got it.

I kind of like it, it's pure crap, but it's good.. I prefer it to Alan Partridge who everyone raves about, Steve Coogan is a c*nt

Partridge like everything else on the Beeb has gone on for too long.
I was amazed to here even Channel 4 have brought back Friday Night Live with Loadsamoney......just goes to show how crap and samey British comedy has become.

Friday Nighy Live was a one off as part of C4’s 40th anniversary celebrations. It was pretty good too.
