Like a good read in January. So all suggestions appreciated

Cue Darran with 'it's not a sports biography but have you heard of a band called Cheap Trick...' :D

Not new but I enjoyed Trevor Ford's autobiography.

Paul McGrath’s autobiography “Back from the brink” is an excellent read.

It's not a sport book, but The Moon's A Balloon by David Niven is very good. Read it last year as an e-book from our local library via a service called Borrowbox. Very good service and all free wrth gwrs.

When Footballers were Skint by John Henderson.

Wow! I'm just coming to the end of that. Thoroughly enjoyable and Cliff Jones in it as well.

Excellent read, my grandad played for Newcastle in that era. One of his favourite stories was that he caught the bus to home games and his brother was a bus driver and earned more than him!
