Barnet 0-1 Swansea

Fifth placed Barnet who have been struggling at late to be honest looked a little flat throughout the whole game. Their midfield especially were dire, lacking presence and strength, however the Swans midlfield although more visible, still lacked any conviction to use this as an advantage. The linesman, had to be the biggest talking point of the match, his lack of knowledge of the fundamentals!!!! From behind the goal what could easily be seen as onside, by his definition and great (not) knowledge was not. The only goal in this game came from a cross from Jason Price into the area and off the head of Steve Watkin. During this goal Martin Thomas went down with a facial injury. Thankfully, this was short lived, and he was soon in the thick of things again. The second half proved fairly neventful, with Barnet putting on the pressure at the beginning and towards the end of the half Overall, this game was a fairly stagnant affair, with pre match festivities, proving a little too much for some Swans Fans, especially a coach load fo Belgium Swans supporters who were a little worse for wear. In the end it was a good result, rather that good viewing, but in the end its the three points that counts and takes us that step closer to automatic promotion.
