Swans not in rush

. He is set to become head of recruitment and development at Premiership Southampton in a move closer to his family home. While Elias’s assistant Jeremy Charles is firm favourite to take over the vitally important post, Swansea chairman Steve Hamer confirmed today that the club will not be rushing into anything. “We are not in a rush,” confirmed Hamer. “We will take stock first and listen to the recommendations put forward by manager John Hollins and Malcolm himself. “The manager feels the department is well structured and Malcolm’s legacy will be looked after. “But with eight weeks of the season remaining it is extremely unlikely we will appoint a successor by the end of the current campaign,” Hamer concluded.
