‘Smudger’ signed from Tiverton Town for £10,000 during the summer of 1998 and made an immediate impact at Swansea with his no nonsense approach to defending and is solid tackling. He was part of the ‘famous five’ defence that shut up shop so often during 1999-2000 and will be looking to make up this season for the 2000-2001 season which was disrupted by injury. |
