The Swans then realised that the game had started and started to play some nice football .After 9 minutes a low hard cross by Stu Roberts had the Haverfordwest defence in trouble and a Haverfordwest defender challenged his own keeper and scored an own goal.
5 minutes later Stu Roberts took the ball on his chest and volleyed the Swans into the lead. The rest of the 1st half was all Swansea pressure and John Williams made it 3-1 after 21 minutes with a low drive. Craig Draper made it 4-1 after 29 minutes with a well worked goal after a good move down the centre.
H-T 4-1 The second half was slower than the first with the Swans controlling the game .The Swans didn’t have all the play and Mathew Bound And Gareth Phillips both cleared the ball off their own goal line.
After 80 minutes Richie Appleby was brought down in the box by the Haverfordwest keeper .Craig Draper took the penalty but it was saved by the Keeper. 2 minutes later John Williams went round the keeper to score his 2nd and the Swans 5th and to seal the result. F-T 5-1
