The Replacements

Colin Addison and Peter Nicholas will be his assistant manager. Addison was last in charge at Scarborough in this country where his record was credible enough and has also been in charge at Hereford (twice) Derby and Yeovil in this country as well as Athletico Madrid abroad.
He spent eight years out of the English game between 1991 and 1999 and left Scarborough in October 2000 after failing to save their football league status. Last season he guided Yeovil Town to runners-up spot in the conference.
Nicholas, as we know has been manager at Barry Town up to, we believe, yesterday, when he formally resigned. At the start of this season he led Barry to the second round of qualifying in the champions league before losing out 9-3 to Porto on aggregate.

It’s difficult to judge this decision. Many, myself included, wanted Hollins Out and that wish has been granted. Now we find that we are left with two names that would not have been first choices on anyone’s lips.

However, we have to also accept that we are a club in serious trouble and until Mike Lewis leaves the healm of the ship no manager with any form of CV to protect will come to Swansea City.

Curt’s Replacement

Colin Addison and Peter Nicholas are possibly not the definitive answer but what we can be assured of is that it would be pretty hard for them to do any worse.
It’s just a shame that Curt had to get caught up in all of this.
