PREVIEW

Both these sides have one thing in common. They have both parted company with the manager that started the season at the club. The difference with us is that we have replaced ours whilst Halifax continue with the temporary appointment in Neil Redfearn.

A new manager usually means a couple of improved performances as players try to catch the eye and we could even possibly see a couple of changes from the last line-up selected by John Hollins.

Colin Addison and Peter Nicholas are clearly going to be their own men but my personal opinion is that I cannot see too many changes at the moment as they settle into the job.

Definitely out is Nathan Tyson who has returned to Reading after his bad injury and I expect John Williams to start with Sidibe up front. Nick Cusack is a doubt and if he has the concussion that the press reported we won’t see him for two weeks.

Stuart Roberts is back in the shop window and Birmingham City are likely to have scouts at the game on Saturday.

Halifax’s start to the season is worse than ours – they haven’t won since the opening day and they will also be a side looking to get somewhere back near the track that they want to be on.

Although it is not overly excited optimism amongst the support, many are relieved that Hollins has gone and my personal belief is that Addison and Nicholas will start with three points on Saturday.
