Indeed there were selected members of the Manics inside the box yesterday afternoon to watch the Swans slip to a disappointing 3-1 defeat, a result which sealed the promotion of Luton Town. |
Of course with the consortium looking for new investors you would hope that they managed a few words with them with a view to investment but as the Super Furry Animals once said “Sponsoring Cardiff City was a big mistake” But that was slightly different wasn’t it. Putting in a few quid would be completely different to having SFA emblazened over the front of the shirts, or in this case MSP. |
There is of course probably a very innocent explanation to all this, and I would imagine that you could say that Mike Watson-Challis, the Hatters chairman is something to do with Sony Records but of course that just takes some of the fun element away from things. But just to show we are always watching, we thought we’d let you know that the Manics were there. |
