Rushden were narrowly beaten by Cheltenham in last season’s play-off final in Cardiff and will make their second league visit to the Vetch – I’m sure I won’t need to remind many people of what the main focus of attention was on their visit last season.
We follow up the opening day clash with Rushden with two away fixtures in the space of a week – Darlington and Bury before relegated Bournemouth visit the Vetch for the fourth league game of the campaign.
League newcomers Boston provide opposition for us on 18th September and at the Vetch on March 4th. The Bank Holiday fixtures over Christmas see us at home on Boxing Day to Bristol Rovers – a game which you would pick out as a potential for the biggest gate of the season, Lincoln away on the 28th, Bournemouth away on New Year’s Day and Darlington at home three days later.
The Welsh Derby next season sees us at the Racecourse on 14th September and the Vetch on March 1st. Swansea will finish their league campaign on 3rd May at home to Hull, a game which potentially should (!) be the last ever at The Vetch Field – Jan Molby back to say goodbye to the old place?

Sadly Football League Licensing means that we are unable to produce a full list of the fixtures on this site. For the full list of the fixtures for the Swans next season then please visit the official club web-site here
