First off Wayne Davies of Amman Sports Tours. Wayne has kindly agreed to donate ร‚ยฃ1.50 to the testimonial fund for every person that travels with his company to the following venues.
Saturday 20 July 2002 – Newbury Races
Saturday 17 August 2002 – Bury v Swansea City
Tuesday 27 August 2002 – Bristol Rovers v Swansea City
The trip to Bury for the opening away game of the season is priced with Amman Sports at just ร‚ยฃ49 per person. This includes travel to the game, match ticket and full hospitality at the ground. Could you get better value?
Full details of these trips can be found by visiting Amman Sports Web-Site at this link. Wayne has also agreed that further trips may be subject to the same offer depending on the success of these excursions. As well as these trips, Amman Sports also offer golfing trips as well as trips to Premiership games and tours of Old Trafford amongst other things.

Also on the fundraising agenda at the moment is the charity match between jackarmy.net and sleepinggiant.com. Organised by two of the mainstays of the sites – Reeco and Mozzer, the game takes place this coming Sunday (14th July) and you can pledge money in support of the game by completing the on-line donation form here.
Reeco and Mozzer have worked tirelessly in organising this match and all support in aid of the game will be much appreciated. All proceeds we are told will go directly to the Roger Freestone Testimonial Fund.
As we can see, Roger Freestone is a man much appreciated by those who have watched him during his near-on 11 years at Swansea City and can anyone think of anyone else more deserving of a rewarding testimonial?
