With attendances like that it doesn’t take a genius to realise that the club MUST be losing money once again. Our old friend Mike Lewis used to talk of a break even attendance of just under 5000. So by my estimations, with attendances dipping below the 3000 mark, the club must be losing close to £20,000 a week!!!

It doesn’t help that there a few players on the books who seem to be content to sit on their backsides and take home the vastly inflated wages that they were so “kindly” offered by our previous owners, how is that groin injury of yours Jason??? It seems that everyone seems to think that Jason Smith is fit besides the man himself!!! There seems to be a general consensus in the medical profession that smudger is fit, so why is he so content to keep the bench warm? Surely he could help to shore up our defence which is leaking goals at an alarming rate at the moment? But then again if Mr Smith was fit and putting in strong first team displays, he’d have no excuses not to agree to the offer of a trial with Bristol City would he? Yes, that’s right, Bristol City have shown quite a bit of interest in old smudger, but due to his “injury” he’s been unwilling to pop up the M4 for a trial. Far be it for me to speculate, but does the fact that Bristol City’s financial situation is far from stable have anything to do with Jason’s reluctance to go anywhere near Ashton Gate? After all, any contract offer from Bristol will be nowhere near the wage he is on at the moment (reported to be in excess of £1700) Don’t worry Jason, you just sit there and watch the money roll in mate. I’m sure the fans don’t mind that you’re costing us nearly £8000 a month, while the club loses money hand over fist!!!

What about our other high earners? Surely Steve Watkin has got to be on a decent wage as well. You’d never realise it though judging by his performances this season!!! Here’s a tip for you Watto, start earning your money mate!!! Quite a few people have been surprised at Andrew Mumford’s loss of form this season as well. Let’s hope that his recent performances have nothing to do with the fact that he recently signed a relatively long term contract. Then again, his lack of fitness and regular appearances in various Swansea nightclubs can’t be helping either.

I think it’s about time that the majority of players took a long hard look at themselves and start to question their motives for playing for OUR club. After all, the last thing we need is a team full of prima-donnas. We want people who are prepared to die for the shirt!!!

Until next weekรขโ‚ฌยฆรขโ‚ฌยฆรขโ‚ฌยฆ.. Who are we?…………………..JACKARMY!!!
