Tate has previously spent two loan spells at the Vetch – the last of them ending in December and after initial talks, Tate will be back tomorrow to hopefully tie up a deal that will see him become a permanent member of the Vetch playing staff.
Tate has received interest from elsewhere but we understand that he has only been offered terms by these clubs until the end of the season. It has also been rumoured that money is the stumbling block between him and a signature on a contract and again we hope that this can be resolved. Of course, this is not at the expense of the football club – the club should only hold out for what they think that the player is worth.
Swans fans will be hoping that the club can secure a deal for Tate before the visit of Torquay on Saturday – a game which is invaluable to the club’s hopes of reaching the play offs this season – they currently lie five points adrift of their 8th placed opponents.
Meanwhile, the club have advised that tickets for the 5th Round FA Cup tie against Tranmere will go on sale at the club on Wednesday morning at 9am. Season ticket holders will have first shout on the tickets and be able to purchase one ticket each on production of Voucher K. A child or OAP season ticket will only be able to be used to purchase a similar ticket for the tie.
Tickets are priced at รยฃ15 for adults, รยฃ8 for over 60s and รยฃ4 for juveniles. The club will also be offering reduced transport with bookings available at just รยฃ10 per seat at the time of purchasing a ticket.
The club shop’s opening hours are 9-5 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 9-5.30 on Saturday. An announcement will be made on Saturday with regards any unsold tickets.
Lets Hope So?
