1 Match Ban For Kris

Kris O’Leary’s first goal since April 2002 set the Swans on the way to a cup victory at Cheltenham today but a booking collected in the second half means that his ever present record for the season will disappear when Bury visit the Vetch on 27 November.

O’Leary collected a yellow card to go with the ones he has received against Macclesfield, QPR, Cambridge and Wycombe meaning that he must serve a one match suspension starting from 21 November.

With the Swans having no fixture the following midweek, O’Leary will see his place in midfield go to someone else for the visit of Bury the following Saturday.

O’Leary’s goal has capped a fine season so far for the Port Talbot man who has been pushed back into his original position of midfield by manager Kenny Jackett.

His last goal came on the last day of the 2001/2 season when he scored the second against Torquay in a 2-2 draw.
