WEAR RED FOR SATURDAY

After the success of Saturday, where the Swansea faithful decked themselves out in white to commemorate the end of league football at the Vetch, there has been murmuring amongst fans of making a similar statement at Bury at the decisive game on May 7th. Given that Bury also turn out in white, it would be slightly self-defeating to present the Bury team with a stadium filled with white when they enter fortress Gigg on Saturday, so, we should all dress in red, as it is the colour the swans will the wearing on Saturday as well as the colour of Wales, prospective European Champions Liverpool, and O’Leary after making a run into the opposition half. Wear red underpants, wear red socks, wear red t-shirts, sweaters and away tops, hell, even get mangled the night before or contract measles in order to sport red cheeks, do what you can as the boys need all the help they can get in what promises to be a momentous game. Bury are one of the form teams in the division and we have a quite frankly atrocious record at Giggle Lane. We need to create a cup-tie atmosphere if we are to get something out of this game. It is a one-off game and we need a one-off atmosphere to spur on the boys. Remember, ask not what your club can do for you, but what you can do for your club, and that means decking the away ends in red on Saturday. Your club needs YOU!.
