Dear
Welcome to the new 2005/2006 season. I want to thank you personally for your support of the club in the coming season. This is a very exciting time for the club as we start a new life in our brand new home and, thanks to the efforts of Kenny and the players, in the Coca Cola league one.
As you may know already, our first league game will be at home to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 6 August.
But first I want to invite you down to our two major pre-season friendly matches. For both these games your seat is reserved for you to purchase.
I am delighted that the first game, against Fulham on 23 July will be a testimonial match for Alan Curtis, who as you know has been a truly great servant to the club.
As this is the first event at the New Stadium there will be an exciting line up of entertainment. Details will follow in the press. Gates will open at 12.00pm and the event will start at 1.15pm so please come down early to enjoy the whole afternoon. A range of refreshments will be available.
Ticket selling details are enclosed, our sales start on Thursday 7 July.
Please ensure you come to buy your tickets on your allotted day (or on the extra days 13 and 14 July). In that way, we can limit inconvenience to yourself. Also please make sure you bring your season ticket, season ticket receipt, or proof of name and address.
Your season ticket will be posted to you very shortly.
I’m looking forward to 23 July and the whole new season, as I’m sure you are too.
Best Wishes
Huw Jenkins
Chairman
TICKET DETAILS
Both matches will be all-ticket no cash entry at turnstiles.
Tickets for both games will be first sold to season ticket holders, who are guaranteed the opportunity to buy their seat for these friendly matches.
Due to safety restrictions for the first events at the new stadium, capacity will be restricted. If any seats remain unsold once season ticket holders have bought their tickets, then there will be a further announcement about selling arrangements.
Due to the huge interest in the games, and to avoid excessive inconvenience to customers, tickets will be sold to holders of season tickets, 12 match voucher tickets and supporters trust members (who are not season ticket holders) over a number of days, from the ticket office at the stadium as follows: –
