Youngster MacDonald was also given a first team quad number by Jackett in the summer. Shaun has made his made through the youth and reserves; MacDonald is primarily a central midfielder but can play in defence or even up front.

The 17 year old is a Welsh U19 and he has a lot of potential, Shaun will be hoping to feature some first team action next season, he is still only young and will most likely only come in if The Swans have a lot of injuries and suspensions.
