Return Of The Jack |
Former Swansea player Christian Edwards is back in town as Swansea signed him up on an initial one month loan as cover for their defensive problems. Edwards was a Swans player between 1994 ad 1998 when รยฃ275,000 then persuaded us to part with him as he headed off to Nottingham Forest. Since that time though it is only the last two years at Bristol Rovers that he has found any stability in his career and now he has fallen out of favour there as well. Edwards, 30 in November, made approaching 150 appearances for the Swans in his initial spell with the club, the last of which was in a 4-2 defeat at Hartlepool back in March 1998. He will go straight into the squad for the game against Doncaster at White Rock tomorrow. Welcome home.
