Just got back

Always wanted to say that Left with about 10 mins left and we were 4-1 down. Random thoughts: The new ‘keeper is too small. Looks a good shot stopper but makes Gueret look like a commanding ‘keeper. Amankwaah is still the same as last year. 2 the young centre backs (whose names I missed) were totally out of their depth second half with a strong wind in their faces. The young left back (whose name I also missed!) look useful but seemed to be trying too hard. Had a cracking 30 yard shot 1st half. Bodde playing in 1st gear but still put some stunning passes in. Way did well considering all the time he’s been out. Didn’t shirk a challenge and covered a lot of ground. Craney was Craney. Got in a couple of useful positions from right midfield but couldn’t finish Orlandi looked very good on the ball and put in a couple of superb crosses. Needs to get more involved MacDonald ran about a lot and tried to get involved. Seems to have a habit of running down blind alleys though Bussy was very unlucky to hit the bar with a header from an Orlandi corner and reacted sharply to turn in a Bodde shot for the goal. Subs: Collins did very little OTJ looked commanding in the centre of midfield. Put some good tackles in and his distribution was excellent. Pratley should be looking over his shoulder. Jones looked lively and had an excellent 25 yarder that went inches wide. Will upload some photos later.
