“They showed determination and attitude and credit to all of them.
“Oldham have been on a good run and they stopped us playing and that was very frustrating for all of us.
“They were very lucky to draw level with that penalty as I think our player took the ball, but we bounced back and kept on playing football right to the final whistle.
“Teams are happy coming here and defending for 80 minutes before having a go towards the end and we have to keep our discipline.
“As long as we show a solid base we will continue to come through.
“We needed to freshen things up after the first half and the substitutions certainly did that.”

“It was a hard game as we expected but overall we did well as we stopped them from playing,” he said.
“They were a bit lucky with their winner as the ball was deflected to their player but we were a little slow in clearing our lines.
“I would have been delighted with a point but that’s the way it goes sometimes and now we have to concentrate on our next game.”
