Speaking after the match, Roberto told the club website "We got hit with a sucker punch which is disappointing, looking at the replay of the goal, it seemed offside, but it was very close.
"Things aren't going for us at the moment and we got punished, but on the other hand it's another point towards our tally.
"In any campaign you will go through a tough period, but it's imperative that we stay calm.
"Yes it's disappointing to concede in injury time, but we shouldn't be too down-hearted. I would be worried if it was Tranmere who controlled the game and looked like winning it and we were the ones who snatched an equaliser in injury time.
"But I thought we played as well as we have done in the first-half and controlled the game. Tranmere upped the tempo in the second-half, as you would expect when you are chasing the game.
"There are 11 games to go and 33 points to play for and if we show the same attitude and commitment then we'll be okay.
"I thought the fans were really supportive and understanding; and we need them to stay strong as well now.
"We've got three away games in quick succession now and we can't wait.''
