An average of 318,000 people watched the game with a peak of 433,000 on television at around the hour mark – shortly after Scotland had scored the first of his two goals on the evening.

The figures were slightly lower in comparison to Leeds game against Walsall on Saturday which had 378,000 viewers on average with a peak of 471,000.

Last night's game was Swansea's fourth television game of the season with all previous games being cup encounters.  The two FA Cup ties with Horsham and the JPT Area Final had all previously been shown on Sky.

Promotion to the Championship will bring a guaranteed six live league games for Swansea next season along with the increased television and other revenue that it brings.
