Tudur Jones Makes Wales Debut

OTJ was a second half substitute as Wales won 2-0 – Freddy Eastwood grabbing both the goals for the side.

The out-of-favour Wolves striker scored either side of the break first cutting inside from Jason Koumas' cross and then pouncing on Simon Davies pass.

It took his goals tally for his country to four in a game that failed to burst into any life.

Wigan's David Cotterill hit the post late-on as Wales controlled without needing to put in much effort.

In truth though it was a dour game with little action which seemed to get gradually worse as it wore on.  However, the presence of Tudur Jones in a Welsh shirt is the next step on his comeback from injury and proof of the level at which he is thought of by Toshack.

Nice one Owain.
