Anderson made his long awaited return from injury at Gillingham on Saturday – just in time to join in the side's promotion celebrations after their 2-1 victory.
And, for the second time in a week, Anderson has waxed lyrical about the Swans which will increase speculation that he could remain at the Liberty for their Championship push next season.
Anderson and Roberto have both spent time in the last couple of weeks talking up the possibility of extending the stay and the more you hear about it the more you start to wonder if there is more substance to it than just words.
Talking to the Evening Post, Anderson though admitted that he will always have a place in his heart for the Swans.
"It’s great to be part of a team that has won promotion," said Anderson.
"There are some very good teams in League One — Nottingham Forest are solid at the back, Carlisle have their own style of play and Leeds United have been brilliant considering their points reduction.
"But we have played the best football. Sometimes, perhaps, we have given too much respect and we need to be a bit more arrogant, but hopefully we will show that next season. We are heading in the right direction.
"It’s been an absolute privilege for me to be wanted here," said Anderson.
"It’s a compliment to myself that the fans are right behind me, because they loved what I did in the first six months.
"It’s been very frustrating in the last 10 weeks because of my injury.
"I wanted to get back but I pushed myself too quick and redid my thigh.
"I’ve loved my time here, I’ve loved the fans, the manager is great along with the players. I’m not sure what will happen now, we will have to wait and see.
"But the Championship is a great league and Swansea a great club. They will always be in my heart."
