Meet The Ref – Leyton Orient

Saturday’s referee is Rob Lewis from Shropshire; this is his second season as a league referee. He will take charge of his third Swansea game and will make his second appearance to the Liberty Stadium.

Rob Lewis has only taken charge of 9 games this season, probably due to injury and he averages 2 yellows per game this season.

He is most famous for being the linesman who didn’t see Pedro Mendes’s ‘goal’ for Spurs at Old Trafford a few seasons ago. Hopefully he’ll see the important incidents on Saturday.

Stats so far this season:

9 Games,
19 Yellows,
1 Red.

Games refereed vs Swansea:

Vs Bournemouth (home) 06/07 Won 4-2
Vs Millwall         (away)  06/07 Lost 2-0
