Tudur Jones has not started a game for the club since November 2006 – a 4-2 win over Bournemouth at the Liberty – but he looks set to make another huge step on his road back from injury tomorrow in the Swans last home game of the season.
Pratley was red carded during last week's game against Yeovil and will sit out the Liberty finale against Orient with Welsh international Tudur Jones leading the line to be his replacement.
"If I do get the start it will be quite a nice way to cap off what has been a pretty difficult season," said Jones in tonight's Evening Post.
"I said a few weeks back, it was about trying to get as many minutes on the pitch as possible for me and in the bigger scheme of things looking at next season.
"I've been happy just to be training and sitting on the bench for the last few weeks, but when I do get in the team, I'm going to take some shifting.
"Everything's fine. I'm feeling fit and healthy and once I get a good pre-season under my belt in the summer I'll be raring to go."
And that can only be a good thing for Swansea City
