Robinson played a big part in the Swans success last term before making his move up North last week to sign for Leeds United. And, thanks to their play off failure, he will play another season in League One with the chance to add to his winners medal he got this season around.
And that is his immediate target as he prepares for a busy summer that now includes a house move on top of his wedding in Las Vegas – where another former Swans star Lee Trundle will be his best man.
Speaking on the official Leeds United website, Robinson said "It's a tough division and a hard league, but hopefully my experience will help and I'm looking to do same the thing at Leeds
"The manager has said he is looking to freshen things up a bit and I'm hoping to play a part in another promotion winning season."
Andy has a busy few weeks before pre-season training starts in July. He is getting married and is on the hunt for a new house in the Leeds area.
"I just can't wait to pull a Leeds shirt on," he said.
"No one had to sell this club to me. It's massive. I've had five good years at Swansea, now I'm looking forward to some good years here.
"I can't wait to get a good pre-season in and get started again.
"The first thing he (Leeds manager Gary McAllister) said was the ball will be played on the floor," added Andy. "That's great because I like to get on the ball.
"He's done it as a player and he's a legend in my eyes."
