The statement on the official site said "Swansea City is pleased to announce that season ticket sales have now topped 6,000 and well on their way to reaching the club's 10,000 target for the Championship."
The club also state that any fans wishing to secure finance for the season ticket purchase should not leave it until the last minute as seats cannot be guaranteed whilst the approval process of finance is being worked through.
