Phil Anderson believes that by Friday they will know Liverpool's intentions by the end of this week with a further decision then next week as to where Anderson will spend anything from the next few months to the whole season.
The Melton Times – Anderson's home town's local paper – states that as well as interest from Forest and Swansea there has been enquiries from Derby, Watford, Burnely, Ipswich, Leeds and Doncaster for the player who spent last season on loan at the Liberty Stadium.
To date – the paper says – only Forest have made an official approach for Anderson but nothing will be decided until Liverpool have made their own statement as to what they want for the players future.
Anderson senior told the Melton Times "At this stage there is no story until an agreement is reached with Liverpool and until they know what they want to do with him.
"It hasn't been discussed with Paul yet, but I think it should be a lot clearer by Friday.
"Forest have expressed an interest and made an official approach, but no agreement has been made.We were hoping to have all this sorted out prior to going away on holiday, but the wait has happened for all the right reasons."
Anderson will meet with Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry tomorrow.
