As the two clubs continued to fire shots at each other, the Swans reacted to comments made by Adam Pearson earlier in the week that Ferrie had been house hunting in the Derby area.
Pearson was adding to his previous comments that Ferrie had said he wanted to join Derby (before that had been claimed anywhere else) and clearly has riled the Swans.
Bodde has been the subject of the long drawn out transfer saga that has seen the Rams try and get the player on the cheap before tabelling a bid reported to be "up to £2 million" – the Swans valuation on the player.
“I can confirm Ferrie Bodde has not left Holland since the start of the summer,” said Swansea director Dave Morgan as reported in today's local Derby rag
“His aunt is ill in hospital and he's been visiting her on a daily basis. The comment from Adam Pearson that Ferrie is house-hunting in Derby is without any foundation.”
We sit back and wait for what Pearson says next……
