"Swansea City would like to announce that due to the large queues for Carling Cup tickets for the Cardiff City tie, the deadline for season ticket holders looking to guarantee their OWN seat has now been extended.

With tickets going on general sale this morning, fans started queuing from late last night. The queue stretched from the South Stand right back through the concourses to the North Stand by mid-morning today.

Season ticket holders now have until the end of next Saturday (September 13) to guarantee their current seat for the third round tie on Tuesday, September 23 (7.45)

However, if season ticket holders want to take up the offer of the additional ticket, then they must queue as normal throughout the week.

Season ticket holders must produce their season ticket booklet, plus proof of ID MUST be shown for whoever the second ticket is for.

Vice Presidents should continue to contact John Davies to arrange match tickets.

Premier Club members can purchase one additional ticket and need to contact Catherine Beer at the Stadium Management Company to arrange collection.

Ticket are now on general sale at a reduced price of £15 for adults and £10 for concessions. There is a restriction of two tickets per person.

Selling details throughout the week are as follows:

Saturday, Sunday and Monday Sept 6-8

The Ticket Office will be open on Sunday (11am – 4pm) and sales will resume on Monday (normal Ticket Office hours apply; 10am – 6pm).

Tuesday September 9

Wednesday September 10 onwards

Normal Ticket Office hours apply 10am – 6pm.

Any tickets remaining on Monday September 15 will go on sale in normal hours including any season ticket sales unclaimed.

There will be NO internet sales, but telephone bookings will be accepted but NO tickets will be posted out.

Anybody purchasing via the telephone MUST collect from the ticket office and produce ID at the time of collection.

The ticket office is open from 10am – 6pm except for Sunday (11am – 4pm)

* Hospitality for the Morfa Legends Lounge for this fixture is now available at an early bird price of just £50.
