SE4 JACK

Ok. We werent great today. We were outhustled, outmuscled and were generally a bit toothless. We had 10 minute spells at the beginning of the first half and for 10 minutes when Pintado came on, but other than that our possession went sideways or was cheaply given away against a typically Warnock niggly and physical side.

First goal straight in from a free kick (so it seemed) and the second was sloppy, guy found space on edge of the box and picked his spot. Too easy. Our set pieces in general are PHUCKIN AWFUL. Free kicks, corners, you name it, were poor at it, and thats attacking ones as well as defending, i dont think we cleared the first defender for any corner.AND we gave away about 10 free kicks in similar places to where they got their first from.. stupid.

I usually look for positives but today we were crap. This is the sort of game alot of us were worried about before the season started and if were not careful, alot of other sides are going to do the same.

Doris – 5 – Can argue he was at fault for both goals
Painter – 6 – Did ok for me. Struggled against a pacy winger tho
Williams – 6 – Didnt stand out, didnt noticeably do anything wrong either
Monk – 6 – Dont think he won a header all day. is deffo struggling against the big physical guys
Rangel – 6 – Again, up against a pacy winger was put to the test, was a bit subdued coming forward too
Britton – 7 – Our best player for me. Usual everywhere self
Pratley – 7 – Not his best performance, but him and Britton saved us from getting over-run at times
Bodde – 6 – Phuckin shoot mun. So many chances to hit them. But wouldnt Too many misplaces passes also
Gower – 4 – Non existant
Butler – 6 – Tried. No end product
Scotland – 4 – Im not a Scotland basher, but today wasnt his best performance by any stretch

Subs – Pintado was ok when he got on. Lifted everyone – 6

Long post, sry. but theres lots of negatives about todays performance. too much tippy tap and not enough people having a go at goal on sight. we aint gonna walk everything into the net ffs. Lots to work on methinks
