Planet Swans ArchivesCamp has been told he is free to leave Loftus Road if the right move comes about for him following him losing his place to Radek Cerny.
And whilst reports about a move from Saturday’s opponents Ipwich have been denied there is now speculation that the Swans want Camp to provide serious competition for the goalkeeping position at the Liberty.
Drosu De Vries has so far gone through the season pretty much unchallenged and Camp would more than fight for the position giving much needed options for Roberto in that position
“I understand his position and we won’t stand in his way,” said Paladini in response to Camp’s want away position
“Lee’s a good, young keeper but isn’t in the team at the moment and he wants to play. If he goes we will want to sign another keeper.”
Camp had two spells on loan at QPR before completing a £300,000 move to the club from Derby in 2007.
He is popular among Rangers fans – some of whom chanted his name during Cerny’s debut on the opening day of the season.
