Monk was speaking after the game at Ipswich Town and ahead of the home fixture against Queens Park Rangers.
The Swans skipper was naturally disappointed at the late equaliser that cost the Swans a third successive league victory but very confident that they could get back to winning habits in midweek.
QPR – and all their money – have struggled for any consistency this season and with the Swans unbeaten at home, fans are expecting a six point return from the two home games before they face Wolves next midweek for a second time inside a month.
Speaking to the Western Mail, Monk said โThereโs no reason why we canโt carry this form on
โThe fact we totally outplayed Ipswich in the second half will give us confidence.
โWe showed the football we can play and showed we can dig in, too.
โSome of our movement was class and our goals were well-earned.
โTheir first goal was avoidable and the second came after a mis-hit shot.
โWe can still be proud of ourselves.โ
Monk added: โWeโll show the same attitude against QPR tomorrow.
โWe havenโt lost this season at the Liberty, and we want to keep that record going.โ
