The Swansea City man put in a man of the match performance in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest provoking hopes that he may have as much impact on the end of this season as he did at the end of last.
Two goals at Gillingham secured the Swans place in League One whilst an end of season hat-trick at the Liberty sealed what was a glorious and record breaking campaign for the Swans.
Now he wants to make the most of the chance given to him now as the Swans push for the Championship play offs. Speaking to the Western Mail, Bauza said "Hopefully it will be the same as last year, I always try to help the team however I can.
“I have been ready from the start of the season and just waiting for my chance.
“There’s a big demand on the players at this time of the season and I am looking forward to taking my opportunity and scoring some goals.
“It’s great to be back in the starting lineup and I always say I have to be ready whenever the team needs me.
“I think the team will need me at this stage of the season and I will be ready to help them.
“I am just happy to play football and I will do whatever is asked of me as well as I can.
“So for me there is no difference between playing up front on my own, being the second striker or working a bit harder in midfield.
“All three are enjoyable and I think I am doing well. I just need to keep showing the gaffer he can trust me in any of those positions.
“We did a great job getting the first goal but we let them equalise.
“We deserved the win and we all feel the same. Now we just have to forget it and think about Plymouth.”
