The Swansea City boss will lead his side out at Sheffield United today knowing that really only a win will do to keep alive what appears to be a fading dream.
The defeat of today's hosts by Burnley on Monday night appears to have ended the Swans play off hopes but with six points left to play for, Roberto is refusing to give up on a Top 6 finish just yet.
Indeed he believes that despite the gap between 7th and 6th there are more twists and turns ahead in the final few days of the current campaign
"You can see how difficult it is to win games at this level, there are no easy games even when you are at home.
"Every point is very difficult and every team will try to fight for the biggest points tally on May 3.
"Every point is going to be hard-fought from now until the end.
"The hardest thing is to get your own points," he said. "If Sheffield United had got the win and Burnley hadn't, we'd still have to get six points.
"We are in a position where we have no margin of error.
"We need two wins and if that doesn't takes us to the play-offs then so be it.
"Looking at other people failing to get results doesn't get you anywhere.
"I'm sure there will still be twists and turns before it's is over."
