Pratley was reacting to last wek's story that Roberto believed he could play for England one day if they could get him into the Premier League.
But Pratley insists that he will be playing in the Gold Cup this summer saying "I'd love to play in the Gold Cup. I want to test myself at international level.
"Hopefully I can go to the States and do well. I'm English and I did play for England at schoolboy and youth level.
"But to have any chance of getting into the senior England squad you've got to play in the Premier League."
