Bodde, who put in a transfer request to the club this time last season, has been linked with moves to Wigan and Bolton, who have already seen two bids rejected.
Wanderers boss Gary Megson has long been an admirer of the 27 year old, but his chances of landing Bodde look bleak, with the Swans holding out for £5m.
“He won’t hand in a transfer request as he has too much respect for the club,” Schouten told the News of the World.
“They looked after him while he’s been out all this time injured.”
