Beating the Seagulls in comfortable fashion at the Liberty Stadium last night, captain Garry Monk's first half headed goal and Stephen Dobbie's second half brace saw the Swans book a place in the second round of the competition.

Scunthorpe secured their place in the 2nd round thanks to a 2-1 win over league two side Chesterfield.

The tie will be played the week commencing 24th August.
