De Vries capped off an excellent display against QPR with a clean sheet, his second in a week following the 0-0 draw at Doncaster last Tuesday.

The Dutchman, who signed from Dunfermline in 2007, has conceded just 9 goals in 11 league games.

Dorus is joined in the team by Cardiff’s Swansea born full back Adam Matthews and striker Michael Chopra, who scored 4 times against Derby last week.

Team in full: Dorus de Vries (Swansea), Adam Matthews (Cardiff), Sean St. Ledger (Middlesbrough), Lewin Nyatanga (Bristol City), Bruno Berner (Leicester), Darren Ambrose (Crystal Palace), Sammy Clingan (Coventry), Radoslaw Majewski (Nottm Forest), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff), Michael Chopra (Cardiff), Rob Hulse (Derby).
