The Swansea City Chairman was in no mood to confirm names but he did laugh off the speculation linking Kevin Phillips with a move to the Liberty

He told the Evening Post “Paulo is looking for somebody to lead the line in the formation we play

“There are a few players we are looking at and there are probably three or four strikers around who fit the bill.

“It’s a matter of going through all the different options and weighing up each potential signing individually.

“There are a lot of conversations going on and options being looked at,” Jenkins continued.

“We are looking at potential signings, but on the other side we are looking at one or two members of our squad going out on loan as well.

“These things have to be worked out so that they suit everybody and often that takes time.”
