Sousa Respecting The Club’s Philosophy

The Swansea City manager looks at the league table with his side 4th in the table behind Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and West Brom.

And whilst he may be in charge of what is currently the 4th best team in the Championship, Sousa knows that budgetary wise his side is vastly different from sides who have astronomical wage bills and transfer budgets in relation to what he is working with at Swansea.

But while some managers would moan about the lack of funds available, Sousa is the opposite and is always on the lookout for new players but totally respecting of the budgets he is given to work with.

“We are always looking for new players who can improve us,” Sousa told the Evening Post.

“We are in the market all the time because new players can help the others grow.

“If we can bring someone in to help us, we will do it.

“But we need to respect the philosophy of this club, and that means it is very difficult for us to compete for signings with other clubs at our level.”
