Ferguson – I Need A Good Performance

Ferguson brings his side to  the Liberty to play Swansea City this weekend and wants them to bounce straight back from their midweek disappointment

And he has – unsurprisingly – promised changes following the game at Barnsley and wants his players to bounce back in style.

“The performance in midweek wasn’t good – it’s not one anyone can be proud of, but sometimes that happens,” he said

“Perhaps we looked leggy and lacked a bit of energy. I’m not making excuses, that’s just what I saw.

“We can’t have any more games like that – the players know it, and what we need is a good response from them.

“It is all about how you respond to a performance like that one.

“There will be changes after the other night but we’ll keep those close to our chest until tomorrow.”
