The Sheffield Wednesday defender points to their game at West Brom on Tuesday night as a reason why the Owls could head back to Yorkshire with three points in the bag.

He told the official Sheffield Wednesday website "Swansea will be similar to West Brom – they are a passing team and if we can put in a similar performance as we did at the Hawthorns then we should be okay.

"We know that if they get a goal, they like to keep the ball and pass it around so we need to stop them taking the lead and look to threaten them when we break forward.

"We put a really good performance in on Tuesday night and the gaffer said we had a really good team shape.

"Defensively we looked comfortable, we felt comfortable and when we had chance to break, I thought we did so well. If we had taken those chances we could have nicked three points.

"If we take our chances, there's no reason why we can't take three points from Swansea which is exactly what we need."
