Paulo – We Could Have Been Higher

Defeats for Swansea City at Nottingham Forest and at home to West Brom have ended their hopes of automatic promotion and now all eyes are on securing their place in the end of season play offs keeping alive their Premier League dream.

However, Paulo told the official site that he believed that his side could be even higher.   He was overly critical at the time of refereeing decisions against both Forest and WBA and those would again have been on his mind when he looked at what may have been.

He said "We could have had a better position in the table by now

"But you have to consider all the circumstances – we have a lot of injuries and this is a difficult month for everyone.

"When you look at everything, we are happy with the points we have and we're looking forward to the last push."
