"We took the decision to go a bit more direct today because of the high line Scunthorpe play – and it worked.
"I made a number of changes to the team, but I never saw it as a gamble, and never will. I have full confidence in all my squad.
"It is difficult to keep a high standard throughout a season so that is why the squad is so important.
"With all respect to our opponents we will concentrate only on ourselves and will try and win every game which we are certainly capable of doing because we have a winning mentality.
